Hello everyone! I haven't blogged in two weeks, because I have been on holiday in England with my family. I'll blog about that soon and I have Primark and Boots hauls to film too. Before leaving I wanted to blog about my birthday on the 8th of August and have a separate post on my outfit but I wasn't able to do that. As a result, today's post is huge! I'll talk about my 19th birthday, I'll show you the presents I got, my outfit and how I got ready with a video. Following my mother's advice, I invited my closest friends to Pizza Hut, for dinner and we had a lovely time.

Hello everyone. How has your week been so far? Today, I decided to paint my nails and to be just a little bit creative and fun for my birthday, which is tomorrow. I can't believe that I will be 19 in a while. It just seems so old! Well, enough with my quarter life crisis, let's talk about nails! I honestly had no idea nor plan for my nails and I just went with the flow, I guess. That's my favourite way of painting on a canvas, too. I love it when I don't even know what I'm going to end up with. I knew I wanted to use Essie - In The Cab-Ana, because I absolutely love that colour, but I had no clue of what else I wanted to do. I started off with a layer of my go-to base coat, the Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat. Then I applied two coats of In The Cab-Ana, but a third one would have been ideal. Now on to the fun part! Firstly, I decided to opt for an ombre/gradient effect on the middle finger using China Glaze - Re-Fresh Mint. The same nail lacquer and an eBay dotting tool were used to create the polka dots on my index finger of my left hand and my right ring finger. After that, I used the angle of a square sellotape piece and Nubar - Star Sparkle Nail Lacquer to create just one chevron design dividing my thumbnail, left ring finger and right index nail. Also, I added some Re-Fresh Mint abstract lines and dots where Essie meets Nubar, with the smaller end of the dotting tool. Lastly, I applied a generous coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.
Do you like my nails? What have you got on your nails at the moment?

On Friday afternoon, hopefully I will be in the UK, London to be exact. My cousin is getting married and everyone in my family is going to catch a plane to be there, except my dad. I haven't been to England since 2011 and I'm so excited to go back. Besides my family there, I've also missed the Primark shopping experience and I will definitely post a huge haul video. But, I would also love to go to Boots, Superdrug, Topshop, Debenhams and other places that sell cosmetics that I can't get in Cyprus. Basically, this post consists of ten different brands, which I haven't really tried before.

Urban Decay is one of the few brands that I have tried. I own the older version of the Feminine Palette, which I absolutely love. But it was a purchase made online and I would love to just be able to see and test the Naked Palettes in person. Particularly, Naked 2 and Naked Basics. Which one of the two would you pick?

Dainty Doll is a brand that a lot of beauty bloggers talk about and I have been wanting to try their products since they were launched, but without being able to see what they have in person, just makes me take a step away from buying anything. Their blushes look very promising and especially Billion Dollar Babies cream blusher.

Nars, oh, Nars. This is a brand that has been on my wishlist for such a long time. Yet once again, I haven't been brave enough to try their products with an online purchase. It's harder when the brand is as expensive and the possibility of disappointment is greater. I have made a Nars wishlist a year ago, and here I am today, still wishing to buy something from them. I really want to buy the Sheer Glow foundation and the Pure Radiant tinted moisturiser, but without the risk of getting the wrong shade for my skin tone.

Illamasqua is a brand that I've only recently started to think about. Especially when I saw those speckled nail varnishes. In the picture above I show you Scarce which looks absolutely beautiful and I would love to have it on my nails. In addition, there's some hype around their Skin Base Foundation, which I would love to try.

Hello everyone and happy August! Today I have a fashion post for you. It's a simple, casual and everyday look for these warm summer days. The silver cuff necklace is from M&S, my earrings and silver, dolphin ring are gifts. My awesome top is from Next and my denim shorts are from Terranova. My white tennis shoes are from H&M. By the way, I have been working on a new blog template for Beauty Inside Art and I really hope you like it. Hopefully, you will be able to see it tomorrow and please leave your feedback.
